Hello and I hope your summer is going beautifully! We have a lot of new folks here and I’ve got lots of news to share so I’m breaking my monthly schedule to give you a rare mid-month update!
I’d love to invite you to one of my Emerald Coast mahjong launch parties next month! The launch parties are the only opportunity to preorder my Emerald Coast tile set - when you buy your ticket, you get to add a set, mat, or bundle at an exclusive discounted rate and then pick them up at the party!
We will have open play on my sets (including all my sample products for launch later this year), cocktails and apps, fun giveaways (floating mats maybe? before they are available? what?), and swag bags with custom items that I have spent waaaaayyy too much time on. My friend Bradley with Moonfruit Studio will be live painting mahjong folios Friday and Saturday.
Thursday is nearly full, but we still have some room Friday and Saturday. I have several folks using this as an excuse to come down for a Mahjong Retreat weekend (love y’all!), so feel free to come to more than one party - we are going to have so much fun! Thursday and Friday ticket packages start at $100 and Saturday starts at $50. You can buy tickets here:
A limited number of sets will be available on my website on Sunday, July 26 at 1pm CT (you’ll get another email or two to remind you!). I’ll be shipping those out just as quickly as I can after that!

Y’all, this whole “thinking up a product and then making it real life” thing has been sooo much fun! A few more things coming down the pipeline: racks with WAVE pushers (omg omg omg), beach print floating mats, and “Bathing Beauties” mats. I am literally just designing things I want for myself, and I feel so lucky that y’all like them too (thank you). These should be available late summer/early fall. Other summer stuff…
Our routine this summer has been a day camp or some type of adventure during the day, followed by an afternoon swim, early baths, and a 90s summer movie while I make dinner. So far, we have watched Heavyweights, Parent Trap, and Major Payne. I asked around for recs from my friends and compiled this list to pull from this summer:
