Spending our 4th of July in Huntsville as family of 4 despite the blazing hot weather (we got a front row view of the downtown fireworks from inside the hotel lobby and tried fun new breweries); traveling to the North Carolina mountains to visit family & get away, and taking my oldest to the dinosaur exhibit at the zoo. :)
Riding the leftover storm waves in Destin during my daughter Rachel’s birthday and housewarming weekend and having all my adult kids together again swimming like old times when they were growing up there. The bonus is having our grand gem Ruby with us plus Rhodes and Kristen who took us all to the Salt Shack ;)
I went on a girls trip with my mom, daughters, sis-in-law, and nieces. We played non stop Mahj, played at the beach, had some great food, watched cheesy movies, drank wine, and took some golf cart rides. 10/10! What a week!
My favorite memory happened Saturday when my Emerald Coast mat arrived unexpectedly (thought it was coming Tuesday!) After seeing it for so long on Instragram when it arrived and I got it setup it is beautiful and makes me so happy! I decided to wait and order the Christmas tile set so super excited for that and more mats!
I did think the shipping cost was a bit high but it was worth it to have the mat arrive early!
We absolutely loved joining in on the Saturday launch party!! I was able to have the summer off to spend with my daughter Amelia before I started my new job and she started school, best summer ever!

•my oldest daughter getting engaged
•spending lots of time with my youngest daughter, who had an internship on 30A
•wedding dress shopping with both of my girls…priceless!!
